Jim Robison

Jim is the former Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Animal Health International. Throughout his career, Jim has driven growth and professionalization at companies utilizing data-driven performance optimization, systems and operational improvements, sales and marketing disciplines, training and development and by instituting a culture of collaboration. He led the company through several transactions including two leveraged buyouts and an IPO. Prior to Animal Health International, Jim spent sixteen years in the medical supply and device industry with American Hospital Supply, General Medical Corporation and McKesson where he deployed the same strategic focus on growth, operational refinement and culture.

At RiverGlade, Jim serves as an Executive Partner where he provides strategic counsel to the firm’s partners and portfolio companies. Jim is a member of RiverGlade’s Executive Healthcare Advisory Council and serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of TenderHeart Health Outcomes, a current RiverGlade portfolio company. He previously served as a board member of Cedar Creek Products, QC Supply and U.S. Oral Surgery Management, a prior RiverGlade portfolio company.

Jim holds an undergraduate business degree from the University of Texas at Austin and a Masters in International Business from University of Texas at Dallas.
