Frazer, PA (January 13, 2023) – RiverGlade Capital (“RiverGlade”), a healthcare-focused private equity firm, has formed a new partnership with Wellworks For You (“Wellworks” or the “Company”), a leading technology-enabled provider of comprehensive wellness and population health management services to employers, health systems, health plans and resellers. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Based in Frazer, PA, Wellworks is a fast-growing provider of customizable corporate wellness solutions for more than 700 employers with over one million eligible members spanning numerous industries and sizes. The Company’s one-stop service offering includes health challenges, health coaching, chronic care management, claims analytics and preventative and biometric screenings. Wellworks services are primarily delivered through a custom-built web portal and mobile application and are supported by a team of wellness coordinators known for their high-touch, customer-service-focused approach. The Company provides employers with key insights into their employees’ overall well-being and possible risks that allow them to take preventative actions to keep them healthy and keep healthcare costs down.
RiverGlade partnered with Thomas Tegler who founded Wellworks in 2009. Mr. Tegler will continue as CEO of the Company and remain a significant shareholder. RiverGlade has built a strong independent board of directors with Jim Robison, a RiverGlade Executive Partner, serving as Executive Chairman and Bob Greczyn, a RiverGlade Executive Healthcare Advisory Council member, and Jim Hoffman, an experienced healthcare technology COO and CTO, both serving on the board of directors.
