Cincinnati, OH (April 8, 2021) – RiverGlade Capital (“RiverGlade”), a healthcare services-focused private equity firm, has formed a new partnership with H.H. Franchising Systems Inc. (“H.H. Franchising”), a Cincinnati-based company that operates Home Helpers® Home Care. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 1997, Home Helpers Home Care has grown to become one of the largest franchisors of in-home senior care in the U.S., operating throughout more than 1,000 communities across 41 states. Through its more than 320 franchise territories, the Company provides comprehensive home care services, including personal care, homemaker services, specialized care, wellness calls and meals and nutrition planning, for seniors and other individuals needing support who choose to live independently at home. Home Helpers Home Care also offers 24-hour monitoring services through DirectLink, its proprietary suite of medical monitoring solutions.
RiverGlade partnered with Emma Dickison, President and Chief Executive Officer, who has been with Home Helpers Home Care since 2007. Ms. Dickison, a 30-year franchise industry veteran and current President of the Board of Directors of the Home Care Association of America, will continue in her leadership role with the Company. ”
